This precious feline is my cat Sissy. We adopted her about 4 years ago for my daughter who is a complete cat fanatic. Sissy is about 7 or 8 years old. She was already well into her adult years when we adopted her. She had already had a litter of kittens and had been at the shelter for 3 years. I was so surprised no one had adopted her before. The workers at the shelter said she usually hid when people came, but when we showed up, she came right out and rubbed against me as if to say “you belong to me”. I talked the kids out of adopting a male tuxedo cat and they brought out a travel box. Sissy went right in the box as if she knew what was happening. Sissy is a blue torbie. She is a tabby cat, but her stripes are bluish gray and cream and very muted. I have more photos of her on my Flickr. I love this close-up photo of Sissy, because it looks like she is smiling.
I’ve really been enjoying the Blogger site. I love the design and I love all the things I can do with it. Check out the side bar, I have all kinds of cool gizmos on it. The only thing I don’t like is I can’t put my Buddy Slim weight loss ticker on it. It is too big to fit in the side bar. But on weigh in days (Saturday) I can post it in a post.
